Colin's Hope Ambassador
Colin's Hope Tri
The Colin’s Hope Kids Triathlon is a non-competitive swimming, bicycling, and running event for kids ages 5-15. No experience necessary. Just as in the Got2Swim, participants are encouraged to “Tri” in honor of a child who has lost their life to or experienced a drowning. This event is designed to build confidence by allowing each participant to complete all three disciplines on their own, as well promote water safety and drowning prevention among families. Participation medals, t-shirts, goodie bags, age-group awards and prizes for top fundraisers are provided each year. Sign up for our mailing list to be added to the Kids Triathlon communications list. Be sure to select “Kids Triathlon.”
EVENT: SUNDAY, AUGUST 2020
Colin's Hope Got2Swim
The Got2Swim 10K is a solo, 2-person or 3-person open water swim that begins at Lake Hills Park and ends at the 360 Bridge Park (Pennybacker Bridge). This epic swimming journey raises incredible awareness and drowning prevention funds. To connect participants to the Colin’s Hope cause, each athlete is encouraged to swim in honor of a child who has lost their life to or experienced a drowning. Swimmers are accompanied by a water safety team throughout their journey including a personal Water Guardian kayaker, life guards, and Lake Police. Sign up for our mailing list to be added to the Got2Swim communications list. Be sure to select “Got2Swim.”

Colin's Hope Neighborhood Share
Gertie Kate continues to grow in her support of sharing the water safety message by not just participating in athletic events benefiting Colin's Hope. She has been doing presentations to kids and families in her neighborhood. Gertie Kate presented in several small neighborhood gatherings resulting in at least 6 young children taking swim lessons. She also raised awareness for all how to be water safe. Colin’s Hope works 365 days a year to share life-saving drowning prevention tips and water safety education to families and children. Through annual mission-driven events and with the help of generous community supporters including donors, sponsors, partner organizations, and volunteers, Colin’s Hope works to raise crucial dollars for water safety education programs and materials. If you are interested in supporting one or more events, contact us today at firstname.lastname@example.org.
